This light has different brightness settings. If you use the brightest mode, battery life gets to be mediocre. You must mange the light based on your ridding. The light is large, a bit heavy, but well made. You could give a charge to your phone, but again, you will need to manage the battery life.It does not support charging with a fast charger and the charger is not included.Overall, a very good light that does the job well, if if your demands are high, it gives you a bit less performance.
Both lights are bright enough to be seen from two blocks away on a dark night. The fit on the frame is secure and they provide a small piece of extra rubber to ensure a fit on the frame, as handlebars differ (old inner tube cut does some thing). It? nice to have rechargeable lights and the charging ports are easy to access. There may be some brighter sets out there, but none of them offer a really good set for under $19, which is budget friendly. Being safe on a bike is important, as brightly projected light is much more visible than reflected light. The power bank feature is good to know in an emergency. The one thing I wish they had done is tested the brightness in lumens to make comparisons. However, it is bright enough to be safely seen at a distance.
This light is unbelievably bright! I was looking for a bright light to use on my e-bike when I ride at night. The light that came on my bike is not nearly bright enough, not to mention the way it sits on the bike; my little Pomeranian's head completely blocks it when she is in her front basket. Since she is always with me, it was relatively useless other than to light up the back of her head. However, it did nothing for me as far as lighting up the street or helping drivers see me. This light is positioned higher and is so bright that it's impossible to miss. I was also able to arrange it so that my dog's basket doesn't obstruct it. Now, I'm truly visible while riding, and my Pom's head no longer gets in the way. I also love that the light is detachable, allowing me to take it with me when needed. The only thing I wish was different is that it had more options for mounting. However, I understand that I might be asking for too much, as it can only be attached to the handlebars. I was hoping to attach it to the front basket instead, but that's my oversight for not reading the details more carefully. That said, this light is heavy-duty and very easy to install. I actually really like how it fits on the handlebar. Overall, this light is so superior to many lights out there! It's exactly what I was looking for.The set also included a red light, but it wasn't anything remarkable. I also didn't care for how it was installed installing it, so I don't intend to use it. That's okay since I really didn't need the brake light. The front light is definitely worth the investment!
This is definitely the best battery light I've got for a bike. It's not the brightest but it's amazing quality. The outer shell is metal and very strong. The battery life display is awesome and it holds a good charge. Extremely impressed and the little taillight is a nice bonus.
This bike headlamp is stupid bright. it is probably as bright as an average (non led) headlight. I turned it on and shined it carelessly around and both of my children cried that they could no longer see. Lol. Literally for two minutes after ? can? see anything but black spots Dad!? Then they threatened to hold me down and shine it in my eyes as revenge. Kust kidding, kind of. this headlamp is fantastically bright, and the red tail light is also pretty awesome with both steady on and multiple fascinating flashing pattern options. Not only that but they are rechargeable. seriously though, If you?e riding bike at night, what is your life worth? I would buy at least one of these, and if you wanted to go extra crazy, buy two and dual wield for literal, double-car-headlight-power.
